Itinerary
- Day 1: Riyadh
Welcome to Riyadh. You will be met by our guide upon your arrival to the airport to commence the tour starting with a visit to Masmak fortress & Al Dirah Souk. The Masmak Fortress is a historic mud-brick stronghold in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, serving as the residence of King Abdulaziz during the “Recapture of Masmak” in 1902. It now functions as a museum preserving the kingdom’s heritage. Al Dirah Souk is a traditional market where you can find authentic goods including including traditional clothing, textiles, handicrafts, spices, perfumes, and souvenirs, a truly cultural and colourful experience. Next up we explore The King Abdulaziz Historical centre to discover the rich cultural heritage and the remarkable life of the kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, through captivating exhibits and multimedia displays before finishing our first day at the National Museum. Dinner in restaurant and back to the hotel for your overnight stay
- Day 2: Riyadh
Following breakfast at the hotel we embark on a journey through time in Ad Diriyah, a mud-brick architecture and the historic birthplace of the Saudi dynasty. Here you can explore ancient ruins and learn about the foundation of the First Saudi State.
After having lunch at a restaurant we drive to a south western neighbourhood in Riyadh to visit the town of Al Moqbel Palaces which emerged near a historic site before going to admire the sunset in the valley and mountains in the nearby town of Al-Muzahmiya.
Our final destination is back in the city of Riyadh to the iconic skyscraper Kingdom Tower. Here you will enjoy The view of the city before having dinner in restaurant and driving back to the hotel.
- Day 3: Al Qasab - Ushaiqer
Our day begins with a 200km drive to the historic city of Al-Qasab renowned for its salt and wheat production. This ancient city annually produces 200,000 tons of salt. During our visit, we explore the city’s salt factory and learn about its traditional salt-making process. Next location Ushaiqer Heritage Village, hidden in the heart of Najd, 200km northwest of Riyadh. This well-preserved village offers a glimpse into the slow-paced, ancient Saudi society, with mud-brick houses and a living community. Wander through its labyrinth of narrow lanes, shaded pathways, and beautifully renovated houses showcasing Najdi architecture, a living museum draped with traces of an ancient way of life. After lunch we drive to the province of Al-Qassim. Here you will find the local souq in Buraydah, the historical Al-Masmak Fortress, witness the lush date palm groves and unwind amidst the natural beauty of Wadi Al-Rummah Park. Dinner in Restaurant and drive to hotel for overnight stay.
- Day 4: Al Qassim
Today’s journey takes us to Al-Qassim’s fascinating museums, Aloqilat and Buraydah, where we delve into the rich history and culture of the region while admiring historical artefacts.
Continuing on, we arrive in Unayzah city to immerse ourselves in the vibrant Musukaf Culture market, experience the Folkloric art center, and explore the Al Bassam heritage House and Hamdan House museum, all offering unique insights into the local heritage.
Next, we drive to Hail City, where a delightful dinner awaits us, followed by a restful overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.
- Day 5: Hail
First location in Hail City we visit Qishla fortress, A’arif forts a significant cultural and historical site in the city. It is the oldest Fort in Hail City dating back to the 17th century and constructed from mud and clay.
The morning continues with a trip to a traditional market, Jabal As Samra: a mountain known for its natural beauty and scenic landscapes. We then visit a local family from Hail to learn about their culture and way of life with a Thamudic font experience.
Following lunch in a restaurant the tour continues to see the Jubbah Rock carvings: ancient petroglyphs, that depict various images of animals, humans, and geometric designs with a visit to the archaeological site. Drive back to Hail, Dinner in restaurant and overnight stay in the hotel.
- Day 6: Al Ula ( Madain Saleh )
Following breakfast we drive to Al Ula (approx 380km) a historical city located in the Al Madinah Region known for its rich cultural heritage, ancient archaeological sites, and stunning landscapes.
After lunch in Winter Park we visit Madain Saleh to see Alhijaz railway and the remarkable decorative tombs of Qasr AlBint , Qasr AlFarid the mountainous rocks of Jabal Okmah and Jabal Khraibeh before driving to Hurat Alouird for a breathtaking panoramic view of Al Ula city from the summit of the highest mountain.
After Dinner in a restaurant we finish the day to marvel at the natural Rock formations including Elephant Rock: an awe-inspiring sight resembling an elephant.

- Day 7: Al Ula / Madinah
Begin with a delightful breakfast in the camp. Explore the ancient archeological site of Dadan: known for its impressive ruins and Jabal Ikmah: a remarkable sandstone mountain that holds ancient inscriptions and rock art.. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then, we head to Madinah, about 320 KM away. Discover the historic Uhud Mountain and Sela Mountain, the Battle of the Trench Area. Visit The Seven Mosques, including Quba Mosque and Al Qiblatayn. Dinner and to the hotel for your overnight stay.
- Day 8: Jeddah
Today we embark on an exciting journey to Jeddah, covering approximately 400 KM. Upon arrival, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Immerse yourself in the city’s rich history with a tour of the Historical Area, including the iconic Naseef House. Explore the Alalawi traditional market, a captivating historical district. Visit the Open Jeddah Museum and marvel at the magnificent Jeddah Fountain. Continue the adventure to Altaybat City and delve into the Abdulraouf Khalil Museum. The day concludes with dinner at a restaurant and to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
- Day 9: Taif
We set out on a scenic drive to Taif, spanning around 160 KM. Experience the awe-inspiring panoramic view of Al Hada mountains, including a stop at the Fruit Market and a chance to observe the playful baboons. Visit a Rose Farm and perfume factory, immersing yourself in the fragrant allure of the region.
Next, explore the Sharif Museum, delving into the local history and culture.
Following a stop for lunch and som relaxation at the hotel we continue to savour breathtaking views of the mountains from cable cars along the road at Al Kurr Tourist Village. Enjoy coffee or tea and dinner before heading back to Jeddah to your accomodation.
- Day 10: Jeddah
On the final day of this tour we head to the Jeddah new corniche, where you’ll be enchanted by the Floating Mosque and the iconic Jeddah sign. Capture stunning photos to treasure the memories. Finally, we’ll transfer you to Jeddah Airport for your departure, bidding you a fond farewell and safe travels ahead.
