Itinerary
- Day 1: Jeddah
Welcome to Jeddah! We will pick you up from the airport and kickstart your journey with lunch at a local restaurant. Explore the Historical Area, visiting the iconic Naseef House and the Alalawi traditional market, both steeped in history. Next, we’ll head to the Open Jeddah Museum and admire the impressive Jeddah Fountain. Continuing our adventure, we’ll visit Altaybat City and experience the wonders of the Abdulraouf Khalil Museum. Dinner at a restaurant before retiring to your hotel for overnight stay.
- Day 2: Jeddah - Tabuk
Visit the Jeddah new corniche to marvel at the beauty of the Floating Mosque and the famous Jeddah sign. Capture memorable photos to cherish the moments. Next, we’ll transfer you to Jeddah Airport for your flight to Tabuk. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Explore the Hejaz train station and its museum, diving into the region’s fascinating history. Continue your journey to Tabuk Castle and the Prophet’s Mosque, immersing yourself in their historical significance. Conclude the day with dinner at a restaurant before heading to your hotel for overnight stay.
- Day 3: Taymaa - Al Ula
Following breakfast we set out on an exciting drive of about 260 km to Taymaa: a large oasis with a long history of settlement. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour of Taymaa, exploring the fascinating Bir Hadaj one of the most famous wells from ancient times dating back to the 6th Century BC, an outstanding architectural landmark for the region and the Qasr Al-Hamra palace which dates back to the 7th century BC.
After lunch at a local restaurant we continue on the tour to Al Ula, a drive of about 244 km and head to Hurat Alouird where you will be mesmerised by the breathtaking view of Al Ula city from the highest mountain top. Discover the captivating natural rock formations, including the famous Elephant Rock.
As the day draws, enjoy dinner at the camp accommodation before settling in for your overnight stay.
- Day 4: Al Ula
Following breakfast we drive to Al Ula (approx 380km) a historical city located in the Al Madinah Region known for its rich cultural heritage, ancient archaeological sites, and stunning landscapes.
After lunch in Winter Park
Continuing in Al Ula we visit Madain Saleh to see Alhijaz railway and the remarkable decorative tombs of Qasr AlBint , Qasr AlFarid and the mountainous rocks of Jabal Okmah and Jabal Khraibeh. After lunch in Winter Park explore the ancient archeological site of Dadan: known for its impressive ruins and Jabal Ikmah: a remarkable sandstone mountain that holds ancient inscriptions and rock art. We proceed to the Old city to have dinner at the camp accommodation and overnight stay.
- Day 5: Hail
This morning we leave the camp and set of for a 400km scenic drive to Hail City. Upon arrival we have lunch and continue with visiting Qishla fortress, A’arif fort a significant cultural and historical site in the city. It is the oldest Fort in Hail City dating back to the 17th century and constructed from mud and clay before continuing with a trip to a traditional market, Jabal As Samra: a mountain known for its natural beauty and scenic landscapes. Dinner at a restaurant and to Hotel accommodation.
- Day 6: Hail - Riyadh
Start the day with a visit to the Jubbah Rock carvings: ancient petroglyphs, that depict various images of animals, humans, and geometric designs. After lunch we transfer you to Hail Airport for your flight to Riyadh (to be scheduled for 14:00 / 15:10). Upon arrival in Riyadh, explore the iconic Masmak Fortress and experience the charm of Al Dira Souk, an old bazaar filled with traditional delights. Next up we explore The King Abdulaziz Historical centre to discover the rich cultural heritage and the remarkable life of the kingdom’s founder, King Abdulaziz Ibn Saud, through captivating exhibits and multimedia displays before our final visit today at the National Museum. Dinner in restaurant and back to the hotel for your overnight stay.
- Day 7: Riyadh
Following breakfast at the hotel we embark on a journey through time in Ad Diriyah, a mud-brick architecture and the historic birthplace of the Saudi dynasty. Here you can explore ancient ruins and learn about the foundation of the First Saudi State. After having lunch at a restaurant we drive to a south western neighbourhood in Riyadh to visit the town of Al Moqbel Palaces which emerged near a historic site before going to admire the sunset in the valley and mountains in the nearby town of Al-Muzahmiya.
Our final destination is back in the city of Riyadh to the iconic skyscraper Kingdom Tower. Here you will enjoy the view of the city before having dinner in restaurant and driving back to the hotel.
- Day 8: Haffuf
Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel accommodation and get set to embark on an enjoyable drive of 328 km to Al-Hofuf. Explore the majestic Ibrahim Palace, immersing yourself in its historical significance before having lunch at a local restaurant. Next, visit the vibrant Qaisariyah Al-Ahsa Souq and the fascinating Al-Ahsa National Museum, where you can discover the region’s rich heritage. Continue your journey to visit the Jawatha Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in the country dating back to the early Islamic period 7th century AD and the scenic natural beauty of Al-Qarah Mountain.
The day concludes with dinner at a restaurant before returning to your hotel accommodation.
- Day 9: Dammam - Bahrain
We embark on an enjoyable drive of 148 km to Dammam. Explore the Cultural Centre King Abdulaziz (ITHRA), Tarout Castle, and the charming old town, all of which offer a glimpse into the region’s rich culture and history. Following lunch at a local restaurant we commence 83 km (approximately 60 minutes) to Bahrain. Visit to the fascinating Burial Mounds: an ancient archaeological site believed to date back to the Dilmun civilization, dating from around 2050 BC to 1750 BC before exploring the vibrant Bab Al Bahrain and Manama Souq. Dinner at a restaurant and to your hotel for overnight stay.
- Day 10: Bahrain
Final day of this tour starts by visiting Qal’at al-Bahrain also known as the Bahrain Fort, a historical site which holds archaeological remnants from different periods and offers stunning views of the surrounding area followed by exploring the charming areas of Al-Muharraq and Al Souq, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and heritage.
In the afternoon, following lunch visit the Al-Fateh Grand Mosque and the Bahrain National Museum, which offer insights into the country’s art, history, and traditions.
As your journey comes to a close, we transfer you to Bahrain Airport for your departure.
